Yum was founded in 2020 in response to the COVID-19 pandemic and the need for online ordering services. Our mobile app, Yum Cayman, allows parents and students to conveniently place school meal orders. We promote cashless payments with a digital wallet system and accept orders until 12 pm the night before, catering to last-minute orders.

Our school catering program is designed with children in mind, offering real food that tastes great and provides the necessary fuel for academic success. We adhere to government standards for school food provisions, controlling portion sizes and offering a well-balanced selection of proteins, vegetables, and carbohydrates. We limit red meat and fried foods, opting instead for whole grains while providing less sodium and sugar-heavy options. Our goal is to serve up healthy, delicious meals full of wholesome ingredients that nourish Cayman’s children for a healthy future.

However, since 2006, we have carefully crafted our menus, removed unpopular items, and created meals that meet strict Standards for Food Provision.
